About The Author

Temecka Smith has one goal in mind, to be the hands and feet of Jesus. The hats she wears are many in number, but preaching the unadulterated truth, in her eyes, is the most important. She serves as the associate pastor of Good Samaritan Center of Hope in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she has labored for nine years. She has a passion for seeing lives changed, which is made evident as she is the founder of her international ministry Real Life, Real Issues. In using her powerful testimony, Temecka travels to reach people from all walks of life, from the unchurched all the way to the leaders who are in need of healing themselves, in an environment where they can “take off their masks.”  Real Life, Real Issues was birthed out of her home over ten years ago and has now grown to be a cooperative fellowship that meets once a month to love on the lost. The heart she has for the abandoned, lost, and rejected comes from walking miles in those very shoes. Temecka has been in corporate America for over twenty years. Because of the heart, she has for people, she has found it hard to leave due to the amount of ministry opportunities that take place within the marketplace. Temecka and her husband, George, are proud parents and grandparents, who keep their hearts full. She and her husband make their home in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her goal is to take God’s truth to hurting people and show them how He can create beauty from ashes as he did with her own life. Temecka truly has a servant’s heart and a trumpet set to her mouth to sound the alarm in this generation.
